Our priority is to restore full data services on the network by tomorrow morning.

Just so you are aware, O2's primary suppliers for network infrastructure are Ericsson and Nokia.

Sweden's Ericsson apologized and said it was working hard to fix a software glitch that was responsible for millions of smartphone users in Britain, Japan and other countries losing internet access on Thursday.

BT is removing Huawei equipment from its mobile carrier EE's existing 3G and 4G LTE networks, saying it will also not use the Chinese tech giant for its upcoming 5G network deployment.

O2 said that services are slowly being restored and the company would continue to work on the problem throughout the night.

Earlier today O2 confirmed the issue was identified as a software problem within the system of one of their 3rd party suppliers.

From the outside looking in, we've assumed that Manafort has been cooperating with Mueller given the plea deal he signed. On Twitter on Friday he said that during his campaign he continued to run "my business-very legal & very cool".

'A statement reads: "The network issue we are now experiencing remains a top priority for us and we are working as quickly as possible to fix the issues".

Thousands of O2 customers have not been able to get online on Thursday morning following a technical fault with the network.

Other operators affected by the Ericsson software blip include Japanese operator SoftBank and GTA TeleGuam. Ericsson said it has taken action to minimize impact and support the restoration of services. "We'd encourage you to use Wi-Fi wherever you can and we are really sorry".

The outage was "caused by Ericsson-made software errors related to its packet switches, covering our customers nationwide", SoftBank explained.

One of the largest United Kingdom phone networks, O2, is investigating a network outage that has rendered mobile data inaccessible to the company's 25 million customers.
