UPDATE, with video CNN punched back, as President Donald Trump would say, at POTUS's attack on the cable news network's correspondent Jim Acosta at this morning's White House presser.

Acosta addressed the migrant caravan of almost 4,000 Central Americans, mostly women and children, who are walking through Mexico seeking asylum in the U.S. In the past, Trump has made comments, which have since been refuted, that terrorists and gang members are among the travelers.

"I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN", he added. "You run CNN", Trump said as a White House aide attempted to physically take the microphone out of Acosta's hands.

"That's enough, put down the mic", Trump said at a news conference. Trump has also reportedly removed Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein from the investigation and appointed Matthew Whitaker as acting AG. "The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is awful".

It means the Trump presidency - which already had no free rein despite a Republican-led chamber - will face a significant challenge, setting the tone over the remaining two years.

And he accused an African-American reporter of asking him a racist question about whether his embrace of economic "nationalism" hints at support for white nationalism.

With Democrats Taking Control of the House, Is Impeachment Next for Trump? He also noted that the impoverished members of the caravan might be intending to try and enter the country legally.

Despite starting brighter, Arsenal were fortunate not to go behind in the first half when Mane steered home a rebound of the post. Emirates Stadium is transformed, no longer a theatre of pain, but somewhere that once again resembles a football stadium.

"Thank you, Mr. President".

"I'll tell you, CNN should be ashamed of themselves having you working for them".

Acosta continued to argue over with the president over whether his campaign ad had been fair, pointing to images of people climbing over a wall. "If they're doing that, you can't do the other". "You and I have a difference of opinion", Trump replied calmly.

Trump, clearly exasperated, finally walked away from the podium until Acosta sat down.

He turned specifically on reporter Yamiche Alcindor of PBS' "NewsHour". "You are a very rude. person. the way you treat Sarah Huckabee is".

Trump took the rare step of mocking Republican candidates who kept their distance from him during the campaign because of concerns that his divisive messages on immigration would turn off voters - but lost anyway.
