The OnePlus 6T handset has now broken cover, and as its name implies, it should prove a capable iteration on the already-impressive OnePlus 6 released last May.

The OnePlus 6T will be available in 33 countries with general availability starting November 1 - the device itself will be usable on 233 carriers in 74 countries and that includes CDMA stalwart Verizon in the United States. With OyxgenOS Open Beta 6, a few different features that OnePlus introduced with the OnePlus 6T are making it into the slightly older handset.

The OnePlus 6T will be available in Midnight Black and Mirror Black in three variants and will retail at Rs 37,999 for 6GB+128GB, Rs 41,999 for 8GB+128GB and Rs 45,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. This particular improvement will also be available on the OnePlus 6. The device features an in-display fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen and scratch is supposed to affect the scanner, or so we thought.

These in-display sensors work like a camera, with an actual image sensor that uses the light from the display panel to illuminate your fingerprint and capture an image that's compared to what was initially scanned. That's all thanks to a new feature called Smart Boost - long story short, the phone is created to figure out what apps and games you use the most and will load some assets directly into RAM in anticipation of you actually doing your thing. The phone also comes with a 16MP front camera, that enables Face Unlock. The AMOLED display is now at 6.4-inch with FHD+ resolution. Inspired by Oppo F9 and Oppo R17, OnePlus 6T features a tear-drop notch. These new in-display units are beneficial because they don't take up as much room inside the phone, and don't require the rear design of the phone to be changed in order to accommodate the sensor.

The first thing that strikes you when looking at the phone is the small size of the notch on the OnePlus 6.

US Fed's vice chair backs further rate hikes
The target range for the federal funds rate, now at 2 percent to 2.25 percent, is nevertheless still low by historical standards. The rate hikes are also created to give it room to provide support for the economy whenever the next downturn arrives.

The new flagship smartphone from OnePlus largely carries the same features that were leaked ahead of its launch.

Inside, we find the latest tech: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and a sizeable 3,700mAh battery.

Another notable upgrade included with the OnePlus 6T is its battery.

Like the Huawei Mate20 Pro, the new OnePlus 6T has a fingerprint sensor built into the screen - removing the need for a home button and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The updates in Gaming mode will lock the screen brightness during gaming, give you more control on notifications and limit data usage of other apps. You can read what we think of it in our OnePlus 6T review. Smart Boost is said to improve app cold start speed by keeping certain app data in the RAM.
