Klay Thompson broke out of his early-season slump in spectacular fashion Monday night, breaking teammate Stephen Curry's record with 14 three-pointers and finishing with a game-high 52 points. Two years ago, Stephen Curry went 0-for-10 on 3-pointers in a Warriors loss to the Lakers in L.A. That ended Curry's National Basketball Association record streak of 157 consecutive games with at least one made 3-pointer. Dray hasn't quite had an efficient offensive game this season while Thompson's yet to even hit 20 points in a game after averaging 20+ points per game for the last four consecutive seasons.

Thompson set the mark with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter on Monday night against the Chicago Bulls.

Kemba Walker nailed 30 points and also got close to his first triple-double of the season with six rebounds and seven assists in just 26 minutes. He also had 52 in a game that's more remembered for his 37 points in a single quarter against the Kings on January 23, 2015, and he had a career-high 60 points against in on December 5, 2016.

Thompson nailed 10 three-pointers before halftime - equalling Chandler Parsons' record for the most three-pointers in a single half.

Thompson went absolutely ballistic during the first half.

Klay Thompson continued to struggle behind the arc, going 1 for 5 and falling to 5 for 36 this season. Golden State used its hot shooting to get out to a 92-50 lead over Chicago.

Thee Warriors went on to score 149 points to the Bulls' 124.

The Warriors scored 92 points in the first half of their game against the Bulls.

Luka Doncic scored 22 points for the Mavericks, who have lost two in a row. He added eight rebounds, five assists and three steals. But on the floor where he scored a career-best 54 points in 2013, his performance seemed nearly quiet because of Durant.

Zach LaVine and Antonio Blakeney led the Bulls with 21 points, and Wendell Carter Jr. scored 18.
