Following his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6, former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor tweeted a photo of himself on the morning of October 8.

"I hope they're lenient on him [Khabib], not just so we can get a rematch", John Kavanagh told Joe Rogan on the show.

On Monday morning, a rather humbled looking McGregor posted a photo showing some damage done to his eye and nose.

The 30-year-old has completed just one fight in a recent six-fight deal with the UFC, and he has already expressed a desire to contest a rematch with Nurmagomedov.

McGregor also mentioned the name of former middleweight king Anderson Silva before his fight with Nurmagomedov - hailing him as a "legend" of the game and touting the notion that he would be interested in taking on the Brazilian.

McGregor (21-4) suffered a fourth-round submission loss to Nurmagomedov (27-0) at UFC 229 last weekend in Las Vegas.

Apple and Amazon blast China hack chip report
A new report claims that Chinese intelligence added microchips into computers produced in that country. Amazon said in a statement that Bloomberg had made so many inaccurate claims, they're "hard to count".

Irish boxer Michael Conlan, who is a friend of McGregor's, replied to the controversial tweet and spelled out what happened. "Conor was more concerned about the fight [he lost]", White said.

"Nobody saw Khabib diving over there". He got over that thing quick and was going after one of Conor's cornermen.

Still you've got to worry for Khabib, who knows what punishment his dad will give him - he might take away internet privileges or his Xbox. "I've been doing this for 18 years and this is the biggest night ever and I couldn't be more disappointed". You can do whatever you want in the octagon, but beyond its barrier - this is the border separating civilians, there are children, women, bystanders. Outside of the octagon, you need to exist peacefully.

Dana White was asked whether he would be interested in promoting a rematch between Nurmagomedov and McGregor, considering the risks that can not be ignored, but he remained non-committal on running it back.

As far as Im aware, I did an interview for it recently it's a three part documentary that's going to be on Netflix soon, so people will be able to make up their own minds about it.
