  • 'Designated Survivor' Canceled By ABC After Two Seasons

Priyanka Chopra's Federal Bureau of Investigation drama series Quantico will not be renewed for a fourth season as several shows faced the axe on Friday.

According to Variety, the show was hit hard by a number of behind-the-scenes problems - many of which stemmed from having four showrunners in just two seasons.

The third season started airing from April 26 and it has 13 episodes. The season finale, which is the 13th episode, will be the series finale.

The cancellation was expected as the show's ratings had plummeted over the a year ago. The latest season, which ends on Wednesday, has proved disappointing with aan average of 2.4 million viewers tuning in. He wrote, "Hey Priyanka Chopra, Let's do a movie", and the actress was quick to answer with, "Done n done".

"Quantico", from ABC Studios and producer Mark Gordon, was a breakout when it debuted in 2015, setting delayed viewing lift records.

The terrorist drama, which catapulted Priyanka into worldwide fame, has had a good run. The show, which premiered in September 2015, starred Chopra as Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Alex Parrish, making her the first South Asian actress to headline a network show in the US.

Some media reports suggested that the show was cancelled due to logistics and not low viewership.

Besides Priyanka Chopra, Quantico also featured Aunjanue Ellis, Josh Hopkins, Jake McLaughlin, Yasmine Al Massri, Marlee Matlin and Johanna Braddy.

Kal Penn, whose presidential drama Designated Survivor has also been cancelled this week, has straight up invited Priyanka to collaborate with him, and Pee Cee is on board.
