Google is preparing to give Gmail a makeover, but the revamp may include more than just new layouts.

The search engine giant has another feature up its sleeve called "confidential mode" that will allow users to limit what recipients can do with the emails you send, preventing them from being forwarded, downloaded or printed, according to another report in The Verge. There also appears to be a self-destruct button of sorts, via a customizable expiration date that allows the user to send the email into the ether after a time period of the user's choosing-whether that's a week, month, or even a few years. According to a new leak, Google is also working on a new feature that will enable users to send emails which expire after a specified time, a Self Destructing Email. Also, the new feature will be smoothly embedded in the compose screen of the Gmail website which will make it easier for the users to switch to the "Confidential Mode". It seems that not only the design will change as Gmail is set to bring in a very important surprising new feature which was added by Google, and it was discovered shortly before the official release.

A Google spokesperson said: 'We work hard to comply with the Right to be Forgotten, but we take great care not to remove search results that are in the public interest and will defend the public's right to access lawful information. Additionally, the service could let senders an option to ask for recipient's identity with a passcode sent via text message. Recipients will then receive an e-mail that requires them to click a link and input their Google credentials to view the e-mail.

Sony PlayStation 5 unlikely to launch before 2020
Considering the time gap between each release, it seems likely there will be no sign of a PS5 before the end of 2019. Last week, SemiAccurate claimed that Sony had shipped a large number of PS5 development kits to game developers.

Now, in another legal challenge, Google has once again come off second best after it failed in its bid to stop a businessman seeking to invoke his "right to be forgotten". That means you never have to leave your inbox to create a to-do list or reschedule a meeting. Gmail for web hasn't received a major overhaul in years so these new features should be interesting to see. It is unclear if the "confidential" expiring mails will be end-to-end encrypted.

There are many similarities between ProtonMail and the new Gmail design, but one of the main differences between the two services is how they handle the self-destructing emails.
