"The morning of 3-1-18 the Yakima Sheriff's Office was made aware of a potential threat directed toward West Valley High School".

Police confiscated a plastic cap gun possessed by a Steinert High School student Thursday.

Police said 17-year-old Gage Allen, of Walker, was arrested on terrorizing and an unnamed 16-year-old was arrested on intimidation and interference in the operations of schools.

Tewksbury Police will remain on campus for the remainder of the day.

A 17-year-old student at Palo Verde High School was arrested after a gun was found in his backpack on school property around 10 a.m. Thursday.
