  • Logan Paul posted images of what appeared to be a suicide victim online and he’s sparked controversy again by posting more disturbing videos

YouTube had already removed Logan Paul's channel from a list of its most popular video-makers but now now it's made a decision to temporarily suspend all adverts on his channels.

Following another insensitive and controversial video, YouTube said Friday that it has suspended all advertising on video blogger Logan Paul's channels.

YouTube said it was penalizing Paul for posting videos in which he tasered a dead rat and "encouraged followers to do the Tide Pod challenge" (that's eating laundry detergent).

Promptly after being criticized for filming in Japan's suicide forest, YouTube removed the content creator from the Google Preferred platform, effectively keeping top advertisers from using Paul's video to sell their products. It's estimated that Paul made between $40,000 and $630,000 from his YouTube videos per month, another estimate stated that the 22-year-old was earning approximately $270,000 a month from his videos, or approximately $3.25 million a year. "However, we believe he has exhibited a pattern of behavior in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community". This time Paul is seen using a taser on a dead rat which didn't seem to please YouTube at all.

In the new spate of videos posted as Paul returned from an extended hiatus following the suicide forest controversy, the 22-year-old also encouraged the risky Tide Pod challenge (swallowing dishwashing detergent capsules) that's been slammed as unsafe by health officials.

'This sort of content has no place on YouTube or anywhere else, as it could desensitize young people to cruelty to animals, so PETA is calling on the platform to remove it'.

YouTube star Logan Paul apologised for his'suicide forest video but after posting new disturbing content he’s had his ads blocked by YouTube

The Logan Paul saga continues as the popular YouTube star has now gotten all advertising pulled from his channels.

Paul also posted a video that appears to show how incomplete the YouTuber's redemption narrative really is.

Now, just a week after his return and a month after the Suicide Forest video, Paul is back to his disgusting antics. Paul chose not to run ads in that video, given its sensitive nature.

In a video posted on February 4, Paul bragged about gaining "a million subscribers" during his "three-week break" and did not appear noticeably humbler than before his hiatus. "You either love me, or you hate me", he says toward the end of the video.

YouTube has stopped all adverts on Logan Paul's vlogging channels. Those include shutting off ad support, deleting YouTube Original videos by the creator and barring channels from being able to be recommended or put on its home page.
