Police Woman damaged Warhol paintings on first date

According to KTRK, Buzbee and Lindy Layman, 29, were on a date, during which she became very drunk, and the pair returned to Buzbee's home before he called for an Uber to come pick her up. She tore the paintings off the wall and poured liquid on them, and threw the sculptures across a room in Buzbee's home, the court documents reveal.

Prosecutors said in court Wednesday that Lindy Lou Layman, a 29-year-old Dallas court reporter, was on the date with attorney Anthony Buzbee on December 23 when she allegedly went on her destructive spree, according to KHOU.

Among the list of masterpieces reportedly damaged by the woman were two Andy Warhol paintings valued at $500,000 each.

Layman is charged with criminal mischief after prosecutors say she destroyed pricey paintings and sculptures following a date with high-profile attorney Tony Buzbee Saturday night.

She's also accused of throwing and shattering two sculptures. As indicated by court archives, the subsequent harm cost at any rate $300,000.

"Layman, a Dallas resident and freelance court reporter, was granted $30,000 bond after being charged with criminal mischief", said the Daily News. Later, when he tried calling a second Uber, she cursed at him and did the damage to the artwork, KHOU reported.
